About Lynn

In January 2017, Lynn launched KTAL/KMSS’s first web series, The Lynn Vance Show, showcasing local people and places that highlight the good things happening in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. By January 2019, the show marked its 100th webisode and celebrated with a 30-minute TV special on KSHV.

In addition to her web and TV content, for three years, Lynn co-hosted The Sweet & Sassy Radio Show on The River 95.7 FM. It ended in June of 2022.

Today Lynn is a special features reporter for NBC 6 / FOX 33 and co-hosts Geaux Local with Bae on KMJJ 99.7 FM.

She is a native of Minden, Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University Shreveport and Bossier Parish Community College with a focus on journalism and broadcasting.

In her spare time, Lynn enjoys reality TV, great local restaurants, friends, family, and her fur babies, Lexi, and Molly.
